Rent-A-Wreck of Sault Ste. Marie Changes Owners
(11/19/09) Laurel, MD – Rent-A-Wreck of Sault Ste. Marie is under the new ownership of Damon Lieurance, who is ready to continue serving the public with vehicle rentals and quality customer care. Damon also runs a Limousine service called Soo Line, which he took over from the previous owner – Erich Frimberger – as well. Both businesses will remain at the old and familiar location on 2303 Ashmun Street in Sault Ste. Marie.
Lieurance was working at the Chippewa Airport when he met and became acquainted with Frimberger, who frequently shuttled his customers back and forth from the airport. Coincidentally, when Frimberger placed an ad in paper to sell his business Lieurance was the one to respond.
Lierance, who is married with 2 boys, vows to preserve his Rent-A-Wreck the way so many well established and loyal customers have grown to like it – this means daily shuttles to and from the airport, low prices and great service. Meanwhile Frimberger’s familiar presence is far from gone; he still spends time at his old business making sure the transition runs smoothly and greeting customers, perhaps one day becoming a customer of Rent-A-Wreck of Sault Ste. Marie himself.
Commenting on Rent-A-Wreck philosophy, Lieurance says “Everybody drives a used car at home, so when you need to rent a car, why not rent a used one? I offer my customers the value of a used vehicle that’s been maintained well and give them the high quality customer service that can only come from a locally owned business that cares about the community it’s a part of.”
