Rent-A-Wreck of Crown Point Gives Back to the Troops
(11/20/09) Laurel, MD – November is known to be a special month when everyone is reminded to be thankful for the good things in life. This year, Rent-A-Wreck of Crown Point, Pro Auto Sales/Service, Priceless, A1 Self Storage and U-Haul want to give special thanks to the men and women serving this country overseas by accepting donations of personal care items that will be sent to the troops.
The donations will be collected as part of “US Troop Care Package”, from November 20th to December 7th, at the Rent-A-Wreck’s location at 1674, East North St, in Crown Point, In., and all of the community is encouraged to participate.
To mark off this effort, a special event will be held at the same location, on November 28th. The event will feature veteran guest speakers and a performance of the national anthem by Lexi Elisha – a local talent – at 3pm. Coffee and hot chocolate will be served as refreshments.
