Cars have played a prominent role for the Fernandez family, so it’s no surprise that Marc, who was born in Solvay, NY, has worked with cars his entire life. He got his start working various jobs at his uncle’s Romano Dealership. After gaining more experience with cars and business knowledge, Marc moved on to open his own used car lot, and after 5 years he opened a whole Automall, which sells Fords, Mercurys, Suzukis, Jeeps, Chryslers and Dodges. At that time Marc was also researching several rental facilities. After getting a bit sidetracked with his ever-expanding Automall, the search was finally over when Marc found Rent-A-Wreck.
