Got an email confirmation of my price with tax, got to the office and it was 200$ more in taxes and fees that I feel should have been in the email, but as I was told " everyone else might do that but rent a wreck doesnt" nice to know, never again tho.

I was surprised that the mileage for the car was not unlimited. It was late and I was desperate and had to rent. If mileage restrictions continues to be your policy, I will not rent cars from your company.

I still have yet to hear back to this email I am pasting below. Dear Rent A Wreck, I am writing to seek remediation after a poor customer service experience I had with your company. On December 21, I called the company for pickup at 11:44 AM and was told someone would be coming in seven minutes. After calling again twenty minutes later, I wastold again someone would arrive to pick me up in seven minutes. I did not end up getting picked up until 12:30, 45 minutes after initially calling. I shrugged this unpleasant experience off and did not make a fuss when picking up the car although I was in a hurry. However, upon returning the car December 22, at 5:30 PM, I had another problem with your company. I was told I had to pay an extra $25.91 inmileage overages. Apparently since I booked on Kayak I was only permitted 75 miles per day instead of 150 miles perday. This would have been fine and I would have been happy to pay this had the man behind the counter not explicitly

I did not complete mt rental after learning that i needed a plane ticket and my out of state licences was not enough and then asked for a 500 deposit that was original 250 i think i felt taken advantage of and discriminatory practices where used so I did not rent from your company at all i never took a car from the lot the policy was very unusual and seemd to be on a case by case how the owner felt situation...i was very unhappy and plan to report this location to the better buisness department thanks for sending this as a reminder that i should do that asap

Be sure you understand the mileage rate. I got confused andtook the additional $20/day, when paying the $35 for extra miles IF I would have went over would have been a much better way to go. I DID NOT go over my mileage so I was out$60 extra dollars that I should have never paid.

This was one of the best experiences possible re: car rental. An incredibly genial staff from start to finish! I knew Ididn't rent from a top $ establishment and the car was whatI expected. The staff however, was TOP NOTCH!

Ultimately it was fine, but we had a snafu at the start with the insurance confirmation process. To the agent's credit, he helped us and we eventually worked it out amicably.
