  • PICKUP INSTRUCTIONS

    Our office is located five minutes away from the Reno Airport. Please give us a call at (775) 826-7676 when you land and we will pick you up from the airport.

    Please call the office number upon landing to be picked up from the airport, and allow 10-15 minutes for the shuttle to arrive.

    Rates are for reservations booked online only.  ALL rates are based on a 24 hour day/7 day week.  These rates apply ONLY to drivers 25 years and older with major credit cards or BANK ISSUED debit cards.  We do NOT accept pre-paid debit cards or cash deposits. Bank issued debit cards are subject to an additional $200.00 deposit.
     
    Rates subject to change at any time.  Rates are only guaranteed once a reservation is booked with credit card or bank issued debit card.  
     
     
    Call our office for rates for drivers under 21 years of age. Drivers with Nevada and California driver's licenses ARE restricted to 200 radius miles from our office. All other renters are restricted to 300 radius miles from the office, or mileage will be subject to a per mile rate for the total of the miles driven.
     
    Valid driver's license and payment required at time of pick up.  No proof of insurance is needed if customer is purchasing ours at the counter and has their own credit card.  Otherwise, we will need to see proof of insurance at time of pick up. Minimum age to rent is 21.  Renters ages 21-25 pay an underage fee of $10.00 per day.

    When a renter, additional renter, or authorized additional driver presents an eligible checking account debit card at the beginning of the rental to qualify to rent, Rent-A-Wreck will perform an insurance verification with the customer’s personal or business auto insurance carrier to verify that the insurance policy has been prepaid for a minimum of 30 days from the date of the rental and will provide collision insurance benefits to cover the rented vehicle. If the customer's auto insurance policy fails to provide collision insurance benefits for the Rent-A-Wreck vehicle, the rental agreement will not be processed unless the customer provides a major credit card with verifiable rental car damage coverage or chooses to purchase the optional Rent-A-Wreck Collision Damage Waiver (CDW).

    Please note: Prepaid reservations require that the same card be presented at the time of rental as was used to book the prepaid reservation, and the name of the person making the reservation must be the same as the renter of the vehicle.

    We accept all major credit cards and bank-issued debit cards.  Deposit is $200.00-$500.00 depending on form of payment.

    Additional driver fee is $5.00 per day excluding spouses with the same last name as primary driver.

    Renters receive unlimited miles.  Vehicles must stay within a 300 mile radius.

  • AFTER HOURS RETURN

    After hours returns is available. Please check with the agent at the time of pick up.

  • FINANCIAL POLICIES

    Deposit is $300.00 for a credit card and $500 if a bank issued debit card is used for the deposit
    DEPOSIT ON THE PASSANEGER VANS IS $ 700.00 ON A CREDIT CARD AND BANK ISSUED DEBIT CARD.

  • RENTER QUALIFICATIONS

    US or International drivers' license. International license must be in English.

    Rates quoted are for customers arriving at Reno International Airport. Proof of travel will be required at time of rental.

    Minimum age is 21.

    Renters and additional drivers age 21-25 will be subject to a 10.00 per day underage surcharge.
