Rent-A-Wreck and Priceless Celebrate Big Anniversary
Local business owner marks 20 years in business with Customer Appreciation Day
Greensboro, NC (04/17/2018) – David Lanzer, owner and operator of Rent-A-Wreck and Priceless – the long-established car rental provider in Greensboro, NC ruefully recalls his business’ humble beginnings: “The very first rental car that went out had the wrong tags on it,” he laughs. Twenty years later, things are running a lot more smoothly and David plans to mark the occasion with a Customer Appreciation Day which is scheduled for Thursday, April 26th, 2018, from 10 AM until 4 PM.

Local customers and clients flying into the Piedmont Triad International Airport is what sustained and helped grow this business all these years, according to David. Starting with just 7 cars, his fleet grew tenfold and David has navigated his business through transformative times like proliferation of internet based reservations and the purchase of the company by JJF Management in 2006. Through it all, David has focused on providing great customer service and affordable car rental to Greensboro’s community and visitors. He even became a member of the company’s Advisory Council 5 years ago, lending his voice and experience to a group of other long-time franchisors which helps steer the company in the right direction.
David recalls working for Taco Bell as a business development manager in 1998 and simply answering a newspaper ad for aspiring business owners looking for better opportunities in the franchising world as the start of his twenty-year history with Rent-A-Wreck & Priceless. He also fondly recalls attending a training class with another Rent-A-Wreck & Priceless newcomer Jason Manelli who was just starting a new marketing job shortly after graduating college and would later go on to become the Vice President of the company. Their friendship, like David’s commitment to his customers remains strong to this day.
The Customer Appreciation Day will be held on location’s premises at 4519 West Market St., Greensboro NC, 27407. David is excited to offer appetizers and refreshments, as well as limited number of giveaways to guests, customers and friends of the business. Everyone is welcome!
